Door of Hope is a supportive and encouraging program for female survivors of sexual abuse. This program is run in a safe, and supportive environment where women will have the opportunity to grow through increased levels of connection and trust. The program is a useful tool for women to discover more about their true value, worth and uniqueness.:
The program aims to :
Identify false beliefs and unhealthy behaviours.
Help women understand the dynamics of abuse.
Identifies the powerful negative emotions and self talk that influence a womens life and how she views herself.
Examines the way defense mechanisms and self contempt affect relationships and intimacy.
Develop enhanced levels of self esteem.
Set new boundaries in place.
Empowers women to b ring positive change into their lives.

Budgeting assistance is available. Are you wanting to start a budget but don't know where to start? Do you struggle to make income and expenditure match? Personal and confidential Help is available. Contact the office Ph 545 1223Craft Connection
Meets every 2nd Saturday of the month 10am -2pm at Atawhai Community Church to have some time out and relax doing craft activities we enjoy. You can bring your own project that you would like to finish or there is usually an organized craft project which is optional. Anyone over 13ys is welcome to attend, and we enjoy helping beginners, as well as skilled crafters sharing ideas. BYO lunch. Cost $2 plus materials for craft.
